The Healing Power of Breathwork
Breathwork is more than just a breathing exercise; it is a holistic practice that engages your entire being. Here’s how it can transforms my clients’ lives.
1. Heal Your Nervous System
Modern life is stressful, and chronic stress can wreak havoc on your nervous system. Breathwork activates the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting relaxation and reducing stress. According to the New York Times, "Deep breathing has been shown to increase the supply of oxygen to your brain and stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, which promotes a state of calmness." By practicing breathwork, you can reset your stress response, leading to improved overall health and well-being.
2. Reprogram Your Subconscious Mind
Our subconscious mind controls much of our behavior and thought patterns. Breathwork can help you access and reprogram your subconscious, releasing limiting beliefs and emotional blocks. It also helps you heal your past, allowing you to create space for your future and what you want to create. Breathwork gives you access to the things you have been running from, stuffing down, or afraid to look at, enabling profound personal transformation.
3. Enhance Your Performance
Breathwork improves mental clarity, focus, and creativity—essential qualities for high achievers. It helps you connect with your intuition, allowing you to move with self-trust. By fostering a sense of being centered, grounded, and fully in your power, breathwork enhances your performance and shifts you out of survival mode, enabling you to operate from a place of strength and confidence.
Why I Use Breathwork with All My Clients
I work with high-achievers who have big dreams. These are the go-getters who’ve often built their careers or businesses from a place of survival mode. The challenge comes when those survival behaviors stop working for them, and they find themselves stuck in painful cycles.
That’s where breathwork comes in. It’s a game-changer. By integrating breathwork into our sessions, my clients start to reprogram their minds and bodies. They gain more clarity, boost their performance, and tap into a powerful sense of just how unique and talented they truly are. It’s amazing to see them break free from old patterns and step into their full potential.
My story with breathwork
In 2018, I found myself at a crossroads, grappling with personal and professional turmoil. My excessive drinking had become a crutch, and despite hiring countless coaches, therapists, and healers, I felt lost. I had built successful real estate ventures in Utah, North Carolina, and Texas—twice in Texas, even—but my anxiety was skyrocketing, and I was stuck in a cycle of pain.
Determined to change, I decided to quit drinking. Shortly after, I discovered breathwork. After my first session, I felt a profound shift, thinking, “I know I am going to be okay.” From that moment, my life was irrevocably transformed.
Having endured significant trauma, I struggled to feel safe in my own body, constantly battling anxiety and trying to escape the present moment through overwork or alcohol. Breathwork, however, became my sanctuary, enabling me to break free from these destructive patterns.
Today, my life has undergone a complete metamorphosis. While my healing journey continues, I now live authentically and true to myself. I am more successful than ever, exuding confidence and finally feeling comfortable in my own skin.
Breathwork has had a profound impact on my life, beyond what I ever imagined. When you turn inward, heal, and then build your life and business from that foundation, everything changes.

FAQs
What does a breathwork session look like?
It’s a 60-minute, 1-on-1 session. The flow is 15-minute consultation, 20-30 minutes of active breathing, and 15 minutes of processing and closing the session.
Can I do breathwork on my own?
While technically speaking, you could, I don't recommend it, especially if you are untrained. In the same sense that you could cut your own hair, the results of breathing on your own will be different. There are 2 main factors:
A practitioner can help you go deeper into your psyche to release pain or untangle patterns, and they can also guide you out of a memory or feeling if you get caught in a trauma loop. So, working with a professional is safer.
Secondly, our practitioners focus on integration. Information without action isn't very useful. So, we take the information that's come up in the breath and then create actionable plans to foster real change.
What is Breathwork?
Breathwork is a powerful breathing technique. When we do breathwork, we take in much more oxygen than we normally do, and so there is a change of state in the body. Because of this, we are able to access the subconscious mind, and we use this for healing, therapy, and personal development.
How often should I do breathwork?
That is up to you and what your intentions are; however, if you want to create real change, a minimum of 8 sessions is recommended. After that, a session every 2 weeks to keep the momentum going. I encourage you to check in where you're at and whether you'd like to continue or take some time to integrate further.
Can anyone do breathwork?
Yes, anyone can do breathwork, whether you're young or in your golden years. However, you should consult your doctor first if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney disease, or severe panic attacks. If you have asthma, make sure to bring your inhaler to your sessions, and if you're pregnant, it may be best to wait until the child is born.
